Isle of Skye & Scottish Highlands 3 Day Tour
This epic adventure takes you on a journey through some of the most picturesque scenery that our country has to offer. The Scottish Highlands and Islands are some of the most beautiful locations on the planet.
Day One of this tour takes us through the western and central part of the Scottish Highlands before we eventually make our way over to the Isle of Skye.
Day Two allows us the whole day to soak up the rugged volcanic features of the Isle of Skye as well as experiencing how the inhabitants of Skye lived in centuries gone by at the Museum of Island Life.
Day Three will begin with a visit to the ancestral home of the MacLeods at Dunvegan Castle followed by a walk out to the Fairy Pools. From here we will then head back to Edinburgh through the central and eastern region of the Scottish Highlands. We will stop at Fort Augustus, a former Redcoat fortress but now a quaint Highland town famous for its canal lock system and its picturesque setting. Our last stop of the day will be at Pitlochry. This became famous as a holiday resort for the Victorians after the visit of Queen Victoria.
