He’s an incredible storyteller who made Edinburgh’s history come alive, and he took us everywhere. The car was stocked with drinks and snacks (huge bonus!), and he knew all the best hidden spots for photos. Even better—Stephen took the pictures for us, using perfect angles that made us look fantastic. No awkward selfies required!
His timing was spot-on all day, but the grand finale was pure magic. He took us high above the city just as the sun was setting over Edinburgh, and the view was absolutely stunning—one of those moments you’ll never forget.

Great way of seeing Edinburgh in comfort Stephen was our guide today on a 2 hour private tour. Drive us to most of the main " tourist" attractions/ places. Toured Fife on our way from Edinburgh to Gleneagles Hire Stephen! It’s that simple. Stephen arrived on time at our hotel in Edinburgh, dressed in Scottish kilt and ready to make our day fabulous. We were toward the end of our first visit to Scotland and frankly a wee bit tired. Stephen perfectly understood and seamlessly adjusted to fit our day. Special trip to ancestral Scottish lands. Stephen was booked to take my wife and I on a special excursion from Glasgow to her Robertson ancestral lands. We are Americans and this was our first trip to Scotland. He was very personable, entertaining, courteous, and made us feel very welcome to his country. He came in traditional Scottish kilt and treated us as dear friends. He went way above, though, by researching sites and information about the Robertson Clan which made our day extremely memorable. Incredible Journey Through the Highlands and Skye Our trip through the Highlands and the Isle of Skye was absolutely unforgettable! The scenery was breathtaking around every corner, and I could truly enjoy it all thanks to Stephen, who handled the driving. Hearing the fascinating history and stories of each area as we traveled comfortably from castles to countryside made the experience so much richer. A Treat, Absolute Gift of an Experience Stephen is one of the most genuine and generous folks I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only is he insanely knowledgeable and kind, he is also thorough and flexible. We spent a few days travelling with the family and Stephen catered to the whims of four incredibly stubborn, particular tourist looking for a spectacular vacation. He delivered in spades, and will continue to be the one and only human I trust to take me or anyone close to me around Scotland. If you really want to unlock hidden knowledge, Stephen is very knowledgeable about castles, bridges, viaducts, and specifically scot's pines.

Private touring 6 days in Scotland I used Edinburgh Cab Tours with Stephen for 6 days while on a recent Scotland intensive cruise. Three days were based in Edinburgh visiting Balmoral Castle, Stirling Castle and Roslyn Chapel, as well as Edinburgh city highlights. On other days, we were met at the ports of Invergordon, Oban and Greenock. We were completely satisfied with our private tours. We visited multiple sites each day providing more stops than the limited destination tours offered by our ship. Edinburgh Cab Tours uses luxury sedans and larger vehicles to provide great comfort.
