Unforgettable Journey with Stephen Maloney I was warmly greeted by Stephen Maloney on my solo guided tour of Edinburgh. I felt completely welcomed and we just hit it off and had a fantastic start of the day. He was extremely knowledgeable of Edinburgh and its history and also explained historical detail which was amazing. He was always looking to see what we could do next which he never once disappointed me with all of his insight. He truly went out of his way to make sure I had the best experience. His willingness to help and guide you really comes through in everything he does. At the end of the day, I felt I made a friend in Scotland and will do my best to visit again.

Toured Fife on our way from Edinburgh to Gleneagles Hire Stephen! It’s that simple. Stephen arrived on time at our hotel in Edinburgh, dressed in Scottish kilt and ready to make our day fabulous. We were toward the end of our first visit to Scotland and frankly a wee bit tired. Stephen perfectly understood and seamlessly adjusted to fit our day. So pleasant, so courteous and as a life time resident of Edinburgh, very knowledgeable. We gave Stephen our timeline and one destination desire of St. Andrew’s and he filled in the rest-fabulously. Special trip to ancestral Scottish lands. Stephen was booked to take my wife and I on a special excursion from Glasgow to her Robertson ancestral lands. We are Americans and this was our first trip to Scotland. He was very personable, entertaining, courteous, and made us feel very welcome to his country. He came in traditional Scottish kilt and treated us as dear friends. He went way above, though, by researching sites and information about the Robertson Clan which made our day extremely memorable. He was an absolute delight to be around and we are happy to be friends for life.

Incredible Journey Through the Highlands and Skye Our trip through the Highlands and the Isle of Skye was absolutely unforgettable! The scenery was breathtaking around every corner, and I could truly enjoy it all thanks to Stephen, who handled the driving. Hearing the fascinating history and stories of each area as we traveled comfortably from castles to countryside made the experience so much richer. It was such a relief not to worry about traffic, single-track roads, or whether the satnav was sending us the right way — we could just relax and take it all in. Highly recommend!

A Treat, Absolute Gift of an Experience Stephen is one of the most genuine and generous folks I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only is he insanely knowledgeable and kind, he is also thorough and flexible. We spent a few days travelling with the family and Stephen catered to the whims of four incredibly stubborn, particular tourist looking for a spectacular vacation. Private touring 6 days in Scotland I used Edinburgh Cab Tours with Stephen for 6 days while on a recent Scotland intensive cruise. Three days were based in Edinburgh visiting Balmoral Castle, Stirling Castle and Roslyn Chapel, as well as Edinburgh city highlights. On other days, we were met at the ports of Invergordon, Oban and Greenock. We were completely satisfied with our private tours. It was the best family vacation we have ever taken and will be forever cherished. Our private tour with Stephen was our first full day in Scotland and encompassed many of our favorite moments throughout our travels. Stephen was a joy to work with before the trip- very responsive, generous with ideas and answering questions and willing to customize the itinerary to make the most of our time.

Edinburgh showed off its rainy side the day of our tour, but Stephen made the entire day so much fun. He came prepared with snacks and umbrellas, always had an alternative plan and was a delight to be around. At every stop, we enjoyed secret views, heard rich history, learned about regional culture, and he made us laugh all day! He was an AMAZING personal photographer and snuck in many candid shots throughout the day.

Our time in the van between stops was full of laughter, insights about the area and local lore. He gave us the best advice on places to visit on the rest of our Scotland adventure- sites, restaurants, etc. It felt like we spent the day with a favorite family member that happened to live in amazing Edinburgh and knew all the best places to go!

Best Tour in Scotland Tremendous tour! Stephen our guide was friendly accommodating, knowledgeable and funny. He had water and snacks when we started the those and provided more through out. He took us to many places for the views and places of historical significance. He catered the trip to our wishes and desires and it is clear that while we wanted to discuss history which he did most excellently, he also knew all the spots for the best photos and for the selfie and instagram generation. We learned that there is a part of Edinburgh that is quite lovely place to live right in the middle of the big city. The tour was wonderful, Edinburgh as Stephen showed us is beautiful with many surprises and we had a great time. We highly recommend Stephen for tour of Edinburgh and frankly the whole of Scotland he does it all. Most excellent!! If I could give 10 stars I would. This is a tour that you want to take so book now he is popular.
